Unmet potential - constructive criticism
I struggle with this podcast. Editorially, I think the subject matter is topical, current and engaging – as are the guests. However, I consistently struggle with two elements. Chuck’s constant interruptions of guests is maddening and makes for a really jarring listening experience. The second (and inexplicable concern) is the abysmal audio quality. How on earth can an NBC affiliated show be produced with such thin, tinny and poor quality. Amateur podcasts and YouTube videos sound more polished and professionally. If I were Chuck I’d reconsider labelling this “format” using my surname until this were fixed. Clearly the folks who produce this don’t actually listen to the end product. I hope all concerned work on making the end product better.

The Ari Fleischer interview is essential listening. Unfortunately, it is about the only thing on this channel that is.

Five stars for content, one star because it's impossible to listen while doing something moderately noisy, like cooking on the stovetop (when I listen to podcasts). Other podcasts at full volume are much louder. Thanks!Read full review »

My only complaint is the sound quality...often the audio is too quiet or inconsistent and in any event the fact that the guests are usually on the phone is not great,...Read full review »
