A love letter to Kanto.
So I discovered this three days ago and devoured the Kanto quest (episodes 1-8) as quickly as I could. This quest is a love letter to Kanto and while showing love and affection it also delves into the insanity of the whole deal. Why will tea essentially unblock the road? Why do people always say the same thing? The fact that Oak is called out for being a sociopath had me in hysterics. I love the levels of detail aimed at true PokeFans but those unfamiliar with the franchise will enjoy it also. The cast/characters are all amazing, particularly the three trainers who have bags of charisma and chemistry. They are hilarious and infinitely listen-able if that’s even a word. The adult language is always necessary and never gratuitous, combined with the.... I want to say slightly juvenile (at times) SOH creates a perfect storm of hilarity. I was nothing short of compelled from the first minute and can’t wait for 9-16. Also kind of wonder whether something this good should at least consider heading for Johto in the new year too? Just a thought! ~ JP at The Geekly

This podcast was really fun to listen to on my way to and from school on the bus. There were tons of great funny and emotional moments and the characters felt so real and fleshed out and have made me a fan of all of them. I can’t wait to see more of what 20 Sides Stories has to offer. Dream Police!!
