God is grieved to see any of His creation going to hell. He gave His life on the cross and paid the price for our sins, so no one has to go there if they would repent. He loves everyone, and His desire is that everyone would receive His gift of salvation. 2 Peter 3:9 tells us, “(He is) not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” However, some people are so full of wickedness and evil that the scriptures also tell us He will not shed a tear for them when they are cast into hell. In God’s eyes, a wicked person is one who rejects Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
