It's prove it time for the Saints offense after last week's utter debacle, and...we can't say that we're feeling all that great about heading into Foxboro to take on the Pats after what we saw in the Dome on Sunday. Wish it wasn't the case, but after four games, we just don't see any objective basis from which we can say "yeah, it's gonna be fine..." We dive deep into that wonderful feeling in this episode. But that said, knowing the obvious shortcomings displayed thus far, we also breakdown and debate what it is that we DO need to see IF the Saints can find a path to victory on Sunday. We're trying really hard to find some silver lining here because we really DON'T like being this negative! With everything that's happened, at least we find ourselves still at 2-2 and one game back of the division lead with 13 games left to play. However (and, sorry not sorry) therein lies the doom and gloom creeping back in. Sure, it's cliche, but this really is "must win" territory, as the next few weeks will look a hell of a lot more daunting, starting with CJ Stroud and the Texans, if we head into them as a 2-3 team vs. a 3-2 squad. Come along with us as the misery tour continues with as much "glimmer" as we can muster to argue for "how" this team can find its way back on track against Bill Belichick and the Patriots on Sunday. We would LOVE nothing more than to be shocked by our offense and see them put something together. Can it be done? WHO DAT?!
