There it was, an absolute gem of an opportunity to take firm control of the NFC South - a chance to have been two games up in the standings on the closest team with six games remaining; but, instead, we ended up with a COMPLETE FAILURE to take control. Is this a negative spot to be as a franchise? ABSOLUTELY. Are our takes on this game and the outlook going forward just as negative? You betcha. Once again, we saw our Saints in a position to take control of something. Only this time, it wasn't just a game they failed to put away - it was the entire division and a great pathway forward into the playoffs. How did they do it? You guessed it - with more inconsistent, underachieving, and inopportunistic play from just about every position on the field. In this episode we breakdown much of what went wrong, and what now can be done to somehow right the ship or just ride the wave to the end of the season, hoping for the best.
