Sam laid the ground work for the franchise winning its first ever Atlantic Division title. He was also the first coach of the year winner for the Toronto Raptors organization. At the time, he held the best regular season record for this team and still currently has the second most wins in all the 25 years. But what really sets Sam a part from the rest was his ways of connecting with the players he coached.
