Playoff Question
Hey! Love the show and have been listening for a few years now. Was interested to get you take on something. Obviously playoff expansion is inevitable, but I agree with what you guys have said many times that most years it is hard to find 4 deserving teams let alone 12 or 16. And I hate the idea of having a committee select that many teams let alone rank them. Here is my idea: - winner of each power 5 conferences gets in automatically (assuming they still exist) - committee exists to select a 6th team (could be a non-champ, group of 5 or ND) and ranks the teams 1-6 (champs could be the 6th spot) - bottom 4 teams play each other at the home site of the higher seeded team on Army/Navy Saturday so there will be a noon, 3:30, and 7pm game that day - losers go back into the normal bowl pool and get to play another game, winners advance to essentially the same 4 team format we have today I think this take a lot of the power out of the committee’s hands and puts it back on the field. You want in, win your conference. There would be almost no penalty for scheduling tough non-conf games, so hopefully we’d see more of those. Thanks! Kyle

I listen to every episode of Buckeye Talk from Cleveland.com and it’s just better than this pod. No disrespect to either of the podcasters, I know both are...Read full review »

What do you get when you take Doug away from Bill and Ari? The same quality Ohio State football analysis, but it only takes 40 minutes instead of two hours. Five stars.
