On 18 May 2022 a three-judge bench of the Supreme Court took up a Special Leave Petition (SLP) concerning the All India Football Federation’s constitution and elections. As part of the order the apex court reconstituted the Committee of Administrators, adding Justice (retd.) Anil Dave and handing it the task of updating the constitution with the aim of holding fresh elections as soon as possible. On this episode of 420 Grams Pandit and Aney are joined by Shaji Prabhakar, president of Football Delhi and senior journalist Jaydeep Basu. We examine the legal positions as well and what this means for the AIFF.
