“Like many others, I use earbuds to listen to podcasts. It’s very unpleasant to listen to the story content, then have the commercials start blasting in volume. Also they are very few commercials that are constantly repeated over and over throughout months of the series. Give us a break and monitor the volume difference between content and commercials.
I’ve switched to different programs that have far fewer commercials. And no, don’t ask me to pay for commercial-free content. I can’t afford it.”

“Ads: too many and too loud and SO ANNOYING.
Audio quality: messed up. Some episodes are just static, some episodes double back and repeat entire 3-4 minute sections up to 3 times (Murder after Midnight or whatever)

“This is good story telling and interesting stories. The massive downside is the ads play at a very high volume making the podcast unlistenable. Ads would be fine, just they need to be at the same volume as the rest of the program.”
