“Why the unnecessary sound effects and music? Not only does it distract from the story, it’s also at a volume that makes it even more of a nuisance. Not to mention the fact that it’s completely corny and even cringey. The latest episode, RR Killer, is one of the most egregious examples of this. I gave up after 10 minutes of screeching violin music completely overriding the speaker.”

“This is good story telling and interesting stories. The massive downside is the ads play at a very high volume making the podcast unlistenable. Ads would be fine, just they need to be at the same volume as the rest of the program.”
