“Very disappointed to see this podcast decline over the recent years. This is still one of my go to podcasts but this only because i haven’t found another UK boxing podcast that is on the same level.
I love Steve but he is so vanilla, despite having the BBC behind him there is no real journalist approach to his question or pressure to challenge boxers and promoters, with the slightest confrontation Steve moves on to avoid upsetting someone. I get why smaller YouTube journalist would not want to do this out of fear being cancelled, but there is less chance this would happen when you work for one of the UK’s biggest broadcasters

“If you are a boxing fan then this is one that you have to listen to.
Would like it if they could do a few more shows on some of the greats, although I am nostalgic so might be for everyone. I’ll f you can do one I would like to hear one on my boxing hero Lennox Lewis.”
