Not as good as it was
Mike Costello leaving was a blow to this podcast. Nevertheless Steve Bunce is the man for facts, figures and stories. He is quite simply an undisputed expert. Where the journalism fails is in its lack of enthusiastic curiosity and interrogation of the corruption in the sport. Yes Steve does what seems like his compulsory section on Kinahan and most recently the C Benn scandal. However it just feels like he wants to move on quickly. Too quickly in my view. How about getting on the trail and closer to the truth in true investigative tradition? Nothing to do with the sport? It is part and parcel of the sport and directly effects what goes on in the ring. Time for a change.
