“Lots of really strong business advice here, and tons of concepts that are universally valuable to all artists! But, the general vibe is always pushing creatives that are trying to take over the world-many of the case studies and interviews focus on businesses that are trying to go for multiple six figures, and I don’t find that relevant for most artists.
I get sad when I hear these guests coming on that are obviously used to never ever turning the hustle off while they build these giant businesses. I would like to see more tips relevant to smaller artists who maybe just want to build a small lifestyle business that allows them creative freedom-having modest ambitions is perfectly ok, but I’m not sure the hosts would agree.
I’d like to see a focus on a more balanced creative lifestyle be put forward just as much as the guy who’s trying to start the next big creative tech platform. The vibe here sometimes comes off as “growth at all costs”, despite the hosts statements to the contrary.”
