“I listen to ever episode and I love every single thing about this podcast, except one thing… David O’Brien has to stop stop berating callers when they ask a question he doesn’t like. As someone who lives in the heart of south GA (Vidalia to Statesboro area), respect is huge with me and people around me, and these kinds of responses come off as very disrespectful and condescending.
It is evident by the amount of callers who specially ask for Eric’s response without acknowledging David. Not because they don’t like David, but because they don’t want to feel like they are asking a stupid question on a show that thousands of people are listening to.
Eric is the complete opposite of this and it is why people tend to like Eric more. He receives the caller’s question and attempts to explain it in a way that is impactful to the caller’s understanding going forward.
David on the other hand, seems to only answer questions that are on a ‘silver platter’ so to speak. He doesn’t really seem to care if the caller learns anything from his response or if the caller becomes more educated on that particular question.
Again, no beef with David at all. I just think this REALLY brings the quality of the podcast down and is a significant issue for an otherwise 5-star podcast. Thanks for the time.”
