Converted!
I was never a fan of audiobooks until I hear this guy. I've tried a few here and there but none of them captivated me. I stumbled across "7th Son" in iTunes looking for the old blues song of the same name. It sounded interesting so I took another chance, not expecting much. Boy was I in for a shock. He starts you out with a great hook-line, then he drops it for a few chapters. "Well, now I've got time invested in it, I have to stick around and see what happens." All the while, he's digging further into you, anchoring the story deep in your bones. By the time you reach the "big" hook, his excellent narration and dynamic story have captured your brain. It was too late, I was truly hooked. Like a junkie waiting on the next fix, I click "Refresh" on my Podcasts page every Tuesday until my finger is sore. I've got to hear what happens next. Do yourself the favor and get to downloading it NOW! Start at the beginning and you will not be sorry.

However it does suffer from some of the same problems that seem to be common of online fiction. I couldn't help but mentally rewrite or delete...Read full review »
