It's just a waste of my time
Three twenty-somethings sit around and talk about 80s cartoons: a great concept with a horrible execution. This podcast exemplfies the quote for Jurrasic Park: They didn't earn the knowledge themselves. Most of the content is recycled from IMDB, wikipedia, even Superdickery! The internet has made them lazy and it comes across in this podcast. They don't even bother to get character's names correct or come prepared with background information. Most of the insights are in the vein of "That's so weird" "That's totally effed up dude". How bad? They go so far as to rehash the oh-so-cliche idea that Batman and Robin are gay. In this day and age how is being gay funny? Yawn. And not five seconds after chiding the script for being rascist due to Apache Chief's manner of speaking. If you want to have a few laughs listening to funny people pick apart bad entertainment, go with Paul Scheer and crew on "How Did This Get Made". Do not waste a single second of your life on "80s cartoon podcast". Oh, really clever title by the way. NOT!

if you want to host a podcast that you just goof off and laugh at each other name it something besides a Cartoon Podcast. For a 40+ minute podcast, only about 10 minutes are talking about the actual cartoon. Diana and the guest host (David I think) will always try to bring it back on topic, but...Read full review »
