Short on Substance
I had hoped to add this as another great podcast to my love of retro-show podcasts, particularly those focused on cartoons and animation, but this show was disappointing. I listened to the GI Joe: The Movie podcast as well as a couple of older ones to be sure I wasn't basing my review on just a bad episode or two, but it seems that my assessment is applicable to the show as a whole. Besides the audio issues, you basically have a few fans sitting around babbling about the series or show, getting off-topic, being crude, and not really offering much insight into the shows themselves. They don't even seem to be that knowledgeable about the shows in general. The concept of watching an episode and doing a review is one that other podcasts do much, much better. I really hate to dis on their show, but I just don't find it entertaining and I am no longer a subscriber. Maybe if they decide to bring in a new crew or change their format I'll try them again.
