Reluctant Reflection
I’ve been a full-time self-employed creative for fifteen years. A graphic designer friend recommended this podcast to me some time ago and thought it would connect with me. She was right. David’s a skilled writer and speaker, and I get something valuable from each episode. It might be a new perspective on a common creative issue or simply a moment of solidarity to make me realize, “oh, I’m not the only one dealing with this.” Sometimes it’s harsh truths I don’t always want, but need to hear. When a new episode pops up, and I’m in a less than positive place, I’ve often thought, “David’s gonna tell me to believe in possibilities again. Hate that guy.”
