History and Film
This podcast reminds us that people from the last 100 years were struggling in similar ways as we are now. In 1920, the world was recovering from a pandemic and experiencing unrest due to systemic racism. And just like today, the people of 100 years ago expressed themselves through art like film. Learning from the past through film appreciation can be far more impactful because you get to experience what people from the past felt, not just the events that transpired. This podcast is much more than another cinema dissemination podcast, it’s a well organized thoughtful discussion of the people who came before us and how they used film to tell their stories.
