Description
Dionna Dorsey believes, if you’re going to fail, you better fail forward. As a creative director, owner and designer based in Washington D.C., Dorsey’s brand District of Clothing uses the power of affirmations, design, and innovation to empower black communities around the country. Following years in Italy and New York City training in her craft, Dorsey was inspired to curate a design enterprise reflective of her beliefs and undying love of fashion. Through the lens of empowerment and social advocacy, Dorsey has channeled her vision of inclusivity into her one of a kind, unique designer pieces. As the mind behind the famous ‘Trust Black Women’ t-shirts, Dionna Dorsey applies classical fashion training to answer the calls of the modern world; fighting not only for her love of fashion, but also her love of community.   Connect with Us!
