A question for Dr. Daf
This is mostly a question but I dont know where to ask? In your “how to enhance the life of men” episode you talk about how men were the ones designed to be visionaries and leaders. This really breaks my heart, because where do the dreams of women go? Do we kill them off, do we burry them deep, do our dreams not matter to God? This is a serious question and I do not want to be argumentative. It feels like women are suppose to become a shell of a person, with nothing but wanting to support the dreams of their husband. I would want to support my husbands dreams, but I dont want mine to be considered less than or not important. I feel sad for the little girl in me who dreamed of writing and having big ideas. It feels so naturally human, but only men are allowed to claim it. I cant help but feel like men are Gods favorites. I hate being in a world feeling like women dont matter. Its so apparent to me and I feel like I am going crazy. But every women knows what I am talking about when they have been dismissed or discouraged for their ideas and brilliance or creativity. Women have also had something to offer this world on their own accord, so where do the dreams go? And when will men ever respect the minds of women? Sometimes it feels like men use all of what you said as an excuse ro see women as only but an object, and one without personhood… I am sorry that I came off argumenative. I dont want to be. But this kills me and I don’t understand how women are to feel loved by God when sometimes it feels like we were born to be their keeper…does this make sense? I feel scared you will judge me for this and if you were to answer you would be cruel…cause all of these thoughts are met with such hostility. I just don’t understand
