In the first episode of the new series of A Future Made, a podcast from Heriot-Watt University, Anna Ploszajski and Robbie Armstrong join Professor Raffaella Ocone and Assistant Professor Aimaro, to discover exciting new solutions to the huge problem of waste from used PPE. Thanks to an ingenious project from the University’s Schools of Engineering & Physical Sciences and the Institute of Mechanical Process & Energy Engineering, there’s scope for recycling mountains of PPE and for generating new forms of energy. The series showcases Heriot-Watt University’s innovative work in science, business, technology, design and engineering - which is helping to change the future, solve the problems of today, and make an impact on the global stage.
