Poor story telling
The intro is terrible “imagine this, imagine that”. And then once you are told to imagine all the things that happened to Lindy Chamberlain, the journalist then explains all the things that happened to Lindy Chamberlain - repeating what he just said. The way it is written is so bad for example the part where “left the area with their other children who survived”. Survived what? They weren’t in danger. It’s trying so hard to be dramatic which just makes it come across poorly.

Nice twist on true crime genre. More about the social hysteria than the “crime” itself. Really well done.

This podcast is superbly done. Narrator is excellent - presents objective facts of the story while also injecting his own very appropriate and well founded shock and dismay at the miscarriage of justice that resulted. Very much looking forward to the next episodes.
