Wasted potential
I have a lot of respect for both Ethan and Karen based on their previous work and influence on the industry. They manage to pull in some great guests from big name companies. The problem that I have with this podcast is that it is very, very boring. The interviews feel extremely robotic with very little back and forth. It almost feels like they recorded themselves reading the questions and the guest’s answers to the questions separately. The plugs for campaign monitor and their consulting business both feel extremely unnatural and forced. Obviously they need advertisers to support the podcast, but they need to work that in in a more natural way.
