Description
Dante Bichette enjoyed an outstanding 14-year big league career. Part of the feared ‘Blake Street Bombers’ in Colorado, Bichette was a four-time All-Star who finished with a .299 batting average and 274 home runs. During the 2013 season, he served as the Rockies’ hitting coach before deciding to spend more time at home, in part to spend more time with his two baseball-playing sons, Dante Jr. and Bo. Now he’s back in uniform as a coach with the Blue Jays, and with a different approach to hitting. Dante joins Dan to talk about how he combats the “boring approach” at the plate he sees in today’s game. This podcast is produced and sound designed by Christian Ryan, and hosted by Dan Shulman.
