Our Guest this week on The Aditi Surana show is Advait Gupt, Co-Founder & CEO, Kulfi Collective. At the ripe age of 21, Advait started his career in investment banking in the midst of the 2008 global financial meltdown. After almost five years of romanticising spreadsheets, Advait quit his job at a venture capital firm, yearning for greater adventures. One short film contest win and an iMac later, he co-founded Supari Studios with his younger brother. Advait is responsible for the growth and strategic direction of Kulfi Collective, a content network that produces branded and original content IPs for GenY & Gen Z South Asians across the globe. Over the years, Kulfi has collaborated with 200+ creators to produce 10,000+ minutes of content that has been viewed over 1.3 billion times for brands such as Red Bull, Netflix, Google, Spotify and Flipkart. Advait was on Forbes Asia’s Under 30 list in 2016 and was selected to be an INK fellow in 2017. He believes that storytelling is a powerful tool to shape culture and through Kulfi Collective, is on a mission to make the world (wide web) a brighter place, one awesome story at a time.
