What an encouragement!
I’m so glad I found this podcast. Like many, I suffer greatly with imposter syndrome and listening to Cathy’s podcast, why wouldn’t I? I work in a place that wasn’t created for women to work…. So essentially I am an imposter, but it’s way better to think of this as a disruptor…. So, ‘disruptor syndrome’ would be a better way to think about it right? Cathy provides so many penny dropping insights and practical strategies for being successful in this world of academia and I feel so encouraged after every episode because I walk away with things that I know I can easily do! Thank you Cathy for taking the time to share your expertise and help us navigate these careers 🥰

As a dude who is an academic, I draw a lot of inspiration from this podcast and I daresay it’s helping to make academia a better place. I get why the affiliated program is for women and non-binary academics only, but Cathy has a lot to teach you no matter who you are. Five stars!

Cathy Mazak and team are doing the intentional and trauma-informed work to help catalyze women and nonbinary academics. If you’re a doctoral student, post-doc, or faculty member, this is a space for you to grow on your own terms.
