History documentary meets business
I’ve been a long time listener (I started somewhere in season 3 or 4) and the quality increased almost proportionally to the length of the episodes. While in the past, episodes’ history coverage was dense and to the point without any detours (sadly I must say), the evaluation section back then, compared to today’s episodes, feels almost rushed as if the two felt shy about their takes on things. The New York Times, the NBA or Meituan episode for instance are so long, but worth every minute. Additionally, it appears as if they too got a whole lot smarter, wiser. Their insights, perspectives and takes on the themes, power etc. of recent episodes (Bitcoin value as a function of its TAM) got me thinking so much more. I only wished they’d redo some of the historic episodes (NeXT for instance) from season 1-3 again in their elaborate style of the day.
