Not what it used to be
I loved this podcast for about the first year. Now I just get annoyed each time I try to listen. I realize the premise is basically one long advertisement for various products, but the show used to be entertaining and enlightening, and as an Asian person, I loved that the hosts are both Asian. I also have tried and still use some of the products introduced on the show. But now it seems the producers have decided their demographic is wealthy listeners (mostly West Coasters) with rich people problems. The featured products now seem to have sky-high prices that only a small percentage of people can afford. And the commentary about the hosts’ expensive vacations and baby shower wish lists with only high-end and high-price items is, frankly, boring. We know you’re wealthy. We don’t care. We don’t want it waved in our faces on nearly every episode. And mentioning that you know you’re privileged when you talk about the things most of us cannot and/or will not pay for does not make it any less tiresome to hear. I’ve tried to keep listening, but haven’t been able to finish any espiodes in 2023 from sheer boredom and annoyance. There are so many more podcast alternatives that are still entertaining. I’m out.

Anyway, after some minor reminiscing, I decided to take a listen. Kulap, so sorry that it took this long to discover your greatness. I’m usually a true...Read full review »
