“I am a Mama of 2 little girls, a fellow podcaster, and a personal development feen. I first started listening to Angela’s podcast about two months ago when I decided to give up drinking. I knew I really needed to dive into understanding my disease before I could truly stop effectively and sustainably. I knew it was going to be really flippin’ tough to stop and relied on all the good info and support I could get. I’ve listened to every episode and came to appreciate that addiction and alcoholism comes in many shapes and sizes, and I felt totally validated. You don’t have to be a raging alcoholic or failing in every area of your life to stop drinking. Maybe this is you, in which case, you deserve more, and you should definitely listen to this! But if you’re like me and you could have probably fooled everyone for many more years under your shallow guise of “success” and “strength” then you deserve more too, you deserve to reach your highest potential and live and enjoy life fully, so this is for you too! So grateful to be living in an age when podcasts like these are so easily available to us. There’s no excuse!”
