“Host does a passable job of letting guests speak and is better served by it. Otherwise, interactions feel forced, disjointed, and awkward. Going to give it one more chance before dumping for a more polished show. [added] I recommend shortening the podcast, so there isn't as much wasted space to fill with overused infosec trope--yes, we know developers have a bias for speed-to-market vs security and DEVSECOPS is great, but why? What makes for compelling listening is relatable, experience-based anecdotes, not overly-declarative generalizations that are left hanging without personal experiences to provide as evidence for opinion. What specifically got you to a place where you're shouting off your podcast perch that purple teaming is the best thing since sliced bread? Be more specific instead of regurgitating tires trope. I left the Security Weekly series because they prioritized ranting over engaging discussion, which felt like an listening to an inside joke from the outside. Yes, I understand what you're saying, but tell me why you're saying it.”
