For all parents
I do not have anyone in my life with autism but I am a mother and I think this podcast is first and foremost a great resource and safe space for parents. Megan has a son with autism but she is not at all burdened by the weight of that diagnosis, she is an advocate for all her children and loves them ferociously. Megan offers support and advice for navigating challenging situations (whether they apply to a child with special needs or not) that offer so much hope for the weary parent dealing with their own parenting struggles. It was really moving in episode one when she tells the listeners that they shouldn’t feel sympathy for her but should feel willing to support her through her unique parenting journey. Because all parents need support. It really does take a village and this podcast reminds me to listen and also ask for help. This is an important podcast for all parents and I strongly encourage everyone to subscribe and listen.

I’m still trying to go back through a fun listen to all the episodes, but I’m so glad I found this podcast when I did. As a fairly new Autism Mom it’s been nice knowing I’m not alone on this journey.

Megan’s journey is eerily similar to mine. I can’t stop listening! It’s a real perspective from an autism mom. Loving it!
