Fun at times but at times the jolly element and the advertorial parts can grate.
Certainly for me there can be stuff learnt from listening to episodes of this but at other times I find it frustrating. We get a segment where a coffee is first roasted on the Ikawa xyz and then it’s brewed on a Siemens EQabc (or now a Rocket Espresso machine). We get minimal critical feedback on these other than the end result is that it has certain flavours. I’m guessing that the show’s presenters have not paid full price for any of these pieces of kit hence the lack of analysis but I’m finding the blatant product placements jar with my desire to hear about the coffee. If equipment needs to be part of the show then use different ones, V60, moka pot, Aeropress etc

I love listening to Jools, Scott and James (BTW I love the theme music) talk about their appreciation of coffee and the way they explore it’s application and legacy. They are playful as well as knowledgeable and have brought me much pleasure on walks as I continue my own coffee journey. Cheers!...Read full review »

I’ve admired Jools’ cycling advocacy but I didn’t know she was a radio talent as well! Totally recommend...Read full review »
