Anecdotal advice at its best
This podcast is brilliant. A multitude of topics are covered in enough depth to keep you hooked and feeling like you’ve learnt something each time. It is also relaxing to put on whilst browsing the monster manual etc. The guests are brilliant and each bring something unique; every time I start a new episode I declare that they are my new favourite guest. I started with the most interesting topics to me and worked my way through them in that order. Highlights include Marisha (wonderful storyteller) and Satine Pheonix (practical and motivational advice I would never have thought of on my own). Nonetheless, I am yet to be disappointed. Whoever named the episodes did a great job. Personally, I find Brennan’s enthusiasm can at times cause him to talk very quickly which is endearing but at times can be a little overwhelming. However, this only happens infrequently and might be related to his coffee consumption before a show. I find the best episodes are where the guests have a calm and reflective influence on Brennan. Often, he is so genuinely intrigued by the guests he takes a backseat, allowing them to share anecdotes and personal reflections at their own pace on common issues or themes with tabletop RPG. Thanks for sharing this content free and thank you for everything I have learnt. All the best from the U.K.

We have great discussions about improving our own game and just enjoy hanging out listening to a bunch of friends nerd out. Just wonderful casual...Read full review »
