Content is good, but too many ads
This was one of two podcasts I followed when I started getting into podcasts years ago. I liked the episodes then; they were short and to the point, and Josie has a wonderfully soothing voice. Then the ads came. I understand that funding is an issue, but Affirmation Pod is the worst offender. As others have mentioned, it’s several minutes at the beginning AND the end, and subscribing doesn’t get rid of the ads entirely because she throws in plugs for other stuff too. The final straw came after an 11-minute episode that contained less than 4 minutes of relevant content (bookended by Josie talking up Better Help, Hello Fresh, and some channel). There are others who are doing the same thing, with less bloat.
