“I even gave it a five star review once upon a time. I was a little put off a year or so ago when Paula went on a 30 minute rant about how she’s not just a real estate person and how she’s a millionaire and doesn’t have to do anything she doesn’t want to do. Cool. Your audience is smart enough that you could have just said that you were launching a for pay real estate course and would no longer be offering real estate content for free. I think most of us would have understood. But, I’d been a loyal listener for a long time and I loved your content so I stuck with you. I even liked the change, since I’m not a real estate investor. Awesome guests, engaging interviews, it was a total win! Fast forward to the last 3 months and I no longer feel like I’m listening to a personal finance show, but rather one about Covid-19 and current politics. When you feel the need to make a disclaimer at the beginning of an episode that this is a non partisan space you’re no longer a finance show. And that’s great, but not what your brand is and not what I subscribed for. I wish you luck with your current endeavors but I’m not interested in the current content or listening to a lifestyle podcast. I’m bummed because there are so few women in the FI world and now I’ve got to find a new mentor.”
