Welcome to the second episode of African Children's Stories: For Children by children. It features stories told by children from Kongoni Community Library, Likuyani, Kakamega County in Kenya who narrated their favorite stories in front of an active audience.
We are super grateful to the library, parents, and our network schools for allowing us to amplify the voices of their children to the world.
These stories are inspired by Grandmother’s Tales, a Project Based Learning resource from the Internet Free Education Resource Bank (IFERB) developed by Education Above All Foundation. We have implemented this project at Kongoni primary and the Community Library in partnership with the foundation.
We believe that these stories will inspire children to gain various skills through storytelling.
