In the final day of matchday 3 and the group stages we saw a real lack of goals. South Africa and Tunisia went scoreless, Namibia and Mali also played a nil-nil, as did Tanzania and DR Congo. Morocco scored the day's only goal against Zambia which ensured they finished first and the group and also sent Cote d'Ivoire into the round of 16.
