History, culture, but above all music!!
I first started listening to Afropop as a teenager on South Carolina public radio in about 1994. I still have a cassette I recorded off the radio. Thirty years later I still love Afropop. I have been exposed to so many wonderful musicians and genres of music. I have learned so much about the history of music too and I love it!

Thank you Afropop Worldwide! I've been listening on the radio for decades, but now I can download full shows as podcasts! Thank you so much! This is awesome!

It’s such a pleasure to have Afropop here. I’ve been listening to it for years, on the radio, and it always warms my heart. Now I listen more often via podcast, and I enjoy doing so on the subway, its rolicking rhythms matching those of the train!
