Description
There are a variety of reasons to listen to a podcast, but I’m making an educated guess that you are here to learn more about photography. And that is what today’s episode  is all about.  Learning something new as an adult is very different from how we learned in the traditional schooling system. There are a lot of options available to us and it can be hard to know which is the right one. And based on your background and experience level different methods will be more or less useful to you individually. All of the different ways have pros and cons to them - which I am going to go over in depth in this episode - but they also have hidden costs that we might not think about.  Prioritizing learning something new as an adult, and especially something that is a hobby and doesn’t fit in neatly to the “need” category of everyday adult life (ie. responsibilities!) can be difficult. So choosing the best way for you and maximizing the impact is important. Especially with a creative hobby like photography. When you are done listening to this episode you will know: Your unique advantage to learning a new skillWhy forgetting something you learned is a good thingHow to choose the best learning option for your specific goalTools for how to maximize the impact of your learning
