At long last
It was a personality defect of mine for decades that I watched sports with all the fervor of religion and examined every close call of officials with microscopic disdain. My relatives and friends gradually shied away from watching games with me because I was way too often insisting on pauses for replays. I have not had to do that much at all in recent years (except balls and strikes) thanks to all sports adopting replay procedures. Unlike those fans you report as getting angrier, I feel that at long last the authority of officials to allow their sentiments to affect their calls is in check. May your podcast grow and prosper.
