“I really wanted to love this podcast and there were some good episodes but she lost me when recommending that one of the best ways to reduce maternal mortality was to give women more contraception. Seriously? The answer to institutionalized racism, incompetent providers, lack of access to proper evidence based care, domestic violence, PPD, and poverty (just to name a few causes) is to just tell women not to get pregnant as much? And the way she implied that women don’t have the self control to avoid pregnancy without it was so insulting. Shameful.”
