“I recently talked with Elizabeth about a book I was hate-reading (I liked the first book in the series so much that even though I was hating the second book I felt obligated to keep reading it). I turned to Elizabeth for permission, I think, to quit reading it, and I needed to be absolved of my sin. I loved the episode in joy finishing books so much, because the dialogue was so smart, but also because it helped me see that reading books I am not into is keeping me from making time for the ones I do. Well done, as always!”
