Our family of 4 saved over $15k on our trip East!

Our family of 4 visited Los Angeles (4 days), Tokyo (9 hours layover), Singapore (4 days), and Bali (3 days). We have 9 and 7 years old boys. Going had a deal from LAX to Singapore for $2100 (economy for all 4 of us) through JAL that we purchased with cash. 1st stop! Cali Using Southwest points and companion passes we flew from PIT to LAX We stayed at the Westin Anaheim resort using Amex points Amex Fine hotel and resort: 109900 points - 12PM check in/4PM check out - Free breakfast for 2/free Wi-Fi - $100 to spend on property - We emailed the hotel before and they had a birthday cake and balloons for my son’s 7th birthday. They also gave us a room facing Disney California Adventure (we bought Disney tickets using gift cards through the southwest travel portal). 2nd stop - Tokyo - We took the train to visit the shibuya sky and walk around 3rd stop - Singapore 9AM check in - 3 days 2 night at Marina Bay Sands - 160000 Capital One Venture X points - Access to the infinity pool and observation deck Then moved to the Ritz-Carlton Millenia Amex Fine hotel and resort: 99000 points - 12PM check in/4PM check out - Free breakfast for 2/free Wi-Fi - $120 to spend on property - Breakfast/diner at The colony 🍾 3rd stop - Bali We flew scoop airline and paid $298 through capital one travel portal We stayed at The Sun of Granary Ubud Amex Fine hotel and resort: 96000 points - Free breakfast for 2/free Wi-Fi - Amazing villa Then we moved to Hilton Resort Di Nusa Dua Hilton diamond status with the aspire card: 92000 point Upgraded on check in/lounge access/free breakfast Finally made it back to LA Staying at Sheraton Gateway LA… for free - Marriott Bonvoy points: 35000 points for a night - Capital one venture X travel credit: $250 for another night For two weeks of traveling we spent $3500 and saved over $15k😎! This was a year in the making🙏🏾. Our son had his 7th birthday cake as we got one at every hotel! The boys made friends along the way and loved it! Thank you Chris
