“Oh Anderson, how much do I enjoy listening to your podcasts. They bring so many different emotions but most of all they bring me appreciation for the little things in life. My 22 year old daughter just lost her boyfriend of 51/2 years in October 2023. He was 21, and we still have no answers as to why. She found him on their couch unconscious. It wasn’t suicide, it wasn’t a drug overdose. We simply do not know. Watching your child in so much pain is on of the worst things I will ever deal with in my life. I want so badly to take her pain away, but I can’t. We just live day by day, sometimes moment to moment and try to live this “new” normal. Keeping her close and keeping her safe. That’s all we can do. What I struggle with the most is what do I say to my child who has lost the love of her life? It’s heartbreaking. Somehow your voice and your interviews give me so much hope. Thank you Anderson!
