“I’ve listened to your pod for ages now, and always enjoy it, especially around college season.
I know you guys said you got a new mic set up a few months ago and hoped it would make the sound quality of your podcast better but to be honest I think it’s worse 😬 I’m sorry I’m not trying to sound awful, it’s just what I am experiencing. When your pod starts playing the Spotify ad you do at the start is way clearer and louder than the pod itself. I always have to crank the volume up as high as it can go on my Apple Podcasts to listen to the main pod and even then I have some trouble catching every single word. It’s very quiet and a little unclear in places. Maybe it is how you speak, but no, I don’t think so. Your accents are not thick or anything, so I’m really perplexed why I experience this difficulty when listening. It’s so weird that the ads you do sound so different from the pod itself. Not sure why this is happening but I just thought I would let you know.
Still enjoy listening to the podcast and listen as soon as it is uploaded every time! Sad you couldn’t go to Antwerp after all but still really liked listening to your insights, as always.
