“I had no idea baby girl aka Aaliyah was in a movie — let alone a goth vampire punk horror fantasy! Wow
In sixth grade our science teacher held a talent show where me and my three friends rehearsed a Darren’s Dance Grooves routine to one of Aaliyah’s songs. The one where Aaliyah has a huge hawk perched on her arm and she sings about watching her crush from afar, viewing him like prey.
Anyway we incorporated a backward flip where one girl was hoisted up. Mind you this was in a catholic grade school classroom of about 30 students plus a class pet bunny.
The teacher decided to call off announcing a winner. Our showcase seemed to bother her and things got awkward.
To be fair this Aaliyah song was featured on a Dr Doolittle soundtrack.
I digress but I want to say I am a huge fan! Keep ‘em coming.
