Deep, personal, thoughtful life reflections uplift and inspire
I really enjoy Along the Way’s podcasts because the guests tell their honest, real, personal life journeys in a conversational way, with a focus on how their faith in Christ molded their lives and brought them to where they are now. I like the fact that the guests don’t sugarcoat their lives, and instead reveal the ups, downs, negatives, and positives we all face. The realness of everyone’s stories makes you think about your own life and not feel alone in the bad stuff you’re facing. John is a great interviewer. He leads the interview seamlessly, asks thoughtful follow-up questions to dig deeper into certain topics, and listens without interrupting or injecting too many comments. I think the title of “Along the Way” is completely fitting, and that overall John has done a terrific job of creating relatable, real life applicable content in a polished podcast. Highly recommend!

Absolutely love Maria Armstrong’s interview. I already loved following her on Instagram but never knew her full story. Such a phenomenal testimony. John is also a really great host of this show and knows how to ask the right questions that dig deep into conversation.
