Bigotry won the battle, but the tide of war turned toward Justice
Thank you, BBC for airing this magnificent story. I was a freshman in high school in a different state and knew nothing of the story in 1969. These 14 men did not have any idea of the consequences of what would happen to them. So their standing up for justice was an act of inherent courage because of the, wonderful people that they were and are. This is an important story in the history of relationships between bigoted white America and black Americans, full of heart, soul, courage, and wisdom beyond their years. I urge all sports fans, and all those interested in the history of racism in the United States to listen to this 4-part podcast.

Well told true story of the Black 14 and the impact that their brave stand against racism had on their education and lives. A story of the true heroism of doing the right thing regardless of the consequences.
