Really enjoyable Rog. The first time US soccer broke our hearts. I remember it all. Side story - Hank Steinbecker, MIA Hamm and other US soccer dignitaries were in Birmingham promoting 1996 Olympic soccer during the summer of 1995. I sat next to them at the only place in town that showed the copa America Brazil game (hole in the wall sports bar). I wondered why Hank was less than upset after the US loss - I now understand. I was also able to talk with Bora at the Olympics a year later - he was very fond of the 1994 US team and the American player. It was the achievement of his lifetime.
